Your Yogini- Keri

Keri is a 200-hour, Yoga Alliance certified instructor, recently trained here in San Diego. Growing up, her love of fitness and exercise evolved from having taken dance and gymnastic lessons and being on a crew team. It gave her a place to be and a common theme in life while moving around the country and abroad with her military family.
In college, Keri earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and is currently getting re-certified through NASM to learn new concepts in Personal Training, Group Fitness, Nutrition Coaching and Senior Fitness.
Keri discovered her true love of yoga in her recent teacher training. She was amazed in its ability to help heal the body, mind and spirit. It was such an amazing transformation in helping her heal and manage chronic pain, that she wants to continue practicing and help others in their own journey towards a better life.
She likes to give credit to yoga for clearing up the many "traffic jams" that she had in her body—when you are putting the body into different planes of movement, you are opening up many pathways that you never knew existed. Blood and oxygen can then flow more freely and get to where it needs to go.
